uvrY Biosensor with luxSp2 Promoter
The sensor fluoresces based upon the presence of uvrY, with more fluorescence with increased uvrY. This device utilizes the luxSp2 promoter to promote the production of GFP upon activation; the promoter for the luxS gene can be induced through binding with UvrY, a known transcription regulator of the luxS gene.
